How to sell personalized products over WhatsApp (without being technical)
If you run a shop, you live it already: customers message you on WhatsApp asking about a detail, a gift, something “their way”. And each conversation is a back-and-forth of photos, “and in blue?”, “can you do it with this name?”… until you close the sale by hand, one at a time.
It works, but it doesn’t scale. What if that same conversation designed the product and closed the purchase on its own?
The idea: the design happens in the chat
Instead of sending example photos and describing changes over text, imagine the customer types what they want and instantly sees several proposals of their personalized product. They pick the one they love and get a link to buy it — in your shop, with your payment gateway — without leaving WhatsApp.
That’s what a conversational design assistant does. For the customer it’s magic: they tell their idea and see it made. For you, it’s a closed sale without being glued to your phone.
What you should NOT have to do yourself
Here’s the catch: building this on your own is a huge project (we tell it unfiltered in other posts: Meta permissions, legal compliance, infrastructure, store integration…). A shop owner shouldn’t have to wrestle with any of that.
What you should be able to do:
- Connect your usual WhatsApp (no changing numbers, no losing your chats).
- Define your product and your style.
- Receive the sales in your shop, like any other order.
That’s it. The technology — the AI, the permissions, the payments — should come solved.
Why it matters
Selling personalized products over WhatsApp isn’t about “having a bot”. It’s about serving more customers, better, without cloning yourself. The same warm conversation as always, but one that designs and sells while you do something else.
That’s exactly what Taituri does: you connect your WhatsApp and offer your customers the chance to design their product and buy it in the chat. Without being technical, because we bring the technology.
